Does anyone have a link to a vendor who can supply the correct Gulf blue/orange paint for models and Ferrari red ( 1970s 512 )

Also if anyone has a link for 1970s period decals in 1/32nd scale for 1970 Le Mans

In the process of converting Fly Porsche 917 & 512 Coda Lunga

many thanks

I was once told that the blue was Triumph Powder Blue.

Dunno about the orange, but the old McLaren Papaya Orange looks close.

Dad and I have done a few things in these colours and I believe the blue was Ford Olympic Blue.

But as said, Zero Paints will have correct for scale version.

Hi just for reference ,

I ordered the Zero paints Gulf powder blue part zp-1103/1316 . This is the correct factory colour " Gulf Blue "as supplied to the 1970's JW team cars .

However , It does not match the Fly Powder blue currently used in their cars .....as i am converting excess Porsche 917 to i will need to search for a compatible colour to the same shade

RH 917 is in Fly Gulf Blue
Middle 917 is the car i conversion & painted in Zero paints Gulf Blue
RH 917 is original Fly car before conversion

I see that Ferrari Red, as also mentioned in the opening post, seems to have slipped by unnoticed!

I always found Ford Radiant Red to be a good match for this, but there is a Fiat colour which is also very close (logical I suppose).
