Build of course wink

I have not done any models since I packed in with the (now restarted) fairground ride model a few years ago, but the house clearance we had unearthed these 2 kits I bought back in the 90's.

The larger 1/10 car was completely boxed and as new,it has the early F102 chassis, the Tamtech car was built but had never ran and needs a bit of TLC.

I realised I could sell the unbuilt car for decent money on Ebay but temptation got the better of me. I had some old crystal radio sets in storage too so put the car together, it had to be done really.

Just a shame they don't supply these with water slide decals, those awkward thick self adhesive stickers are a nightmare to get on bubble free. So I lied, I've done one model in the last 4 years biggrin

Good on you - these things were meant to be built!

Tamtech stuff should be findable on eBay. I’ve managed to get a couple of radio sets that way. Or posted a “Wanted” ad on TamiyaClub?

I love them! The Lotus 107 is one of the best looking “winged” F1 cars ever IMO. The early ‘90’s were a high point as far as aesthetics went.

If you could get hold of an original or repro sticker set, you could possibly scan them at high resolution and print them onto decal paper.
