Ice tyres for rc cars...

So musing away and looking forward to bashing out a course on the drive with my Super Clodbuster to rant my breathed on neo scotcher round Something has bothered me.

My tyres are mixed surface really and the one set of dirt tyres I had have now been worn to heck.

I do have lots of tyres and wheels though so sacrificing one set in the name of sts and giggles - How would you make a set of rc car ice tyres with spikes?

This is not something I plan to spend many hours preparing or waiting to set... and hour or so is about my attention span.

I have access to a decent hardware shop.

Drawing pins through the tyre carcase, held in place by araldite? The tyre foams should help hold them in place.

Back in the 80's when I last did this, we used short self tapping screws.

You need to make sure you use tyre foams.
