Are there any collectors here of Water & Land speed record models?

I collect & build these models when I find them. Been a long haul so far.

I'll post some photo's if interested.

I have none, but know someone who specializes in those cars,

his hobby is being starter at NitrOlympX Hockenheim Drag Race.

Some in his store, but not kits.

Erich has some great dioramas with LSR cars of several decades.

I guess your topic would be more at home (and successful) in the "scale models" section of PH.

I've always been interested in LSR cars and have a small collection of them - chiefly from a Kellogs promotion 20 plus years ago. It would be nice to see others' collections.

I have this resin model of bluebird k7 signed by Gina Campbell.

And a couple of thrust models I picked up at the bloodhound newquay tests.

They do look great but was it necessary to resurrect another five threads with the same photo?

Not everyone looks at every thread. I just went throught & added to each that I came across. People might only be watching a certain thread, so i covered all bases.

I think one related thread would be enough. I just saw some posts I made ten years ago - scary!
