New build see trough Sopwith Camel. According to th box this model is “museum quality”
The fit is certainly impressive. But if it ends up museum quality will remain to be seen

Nice. I'm just building the same kit at the mo. I've bonded everything together as far as I can go and now ready to paint and add wood effect before going any further.

It's a nice kit. I will be watching.

Are you keeping the original chromed parts as they are or are you going to strip them?

More progress, I plan to leave it bare so all the internal workings can be seen, although I do intend to fabricate my own display case as I don’t fancy dusting it!

You should probably tissue and dope a section of it, as that was an important part of the construction technique too; difficult to get right though.
