About to take the plunge won a re-re-re avante.

Cheapest i can find is £399 on ebay.

Anyone bought one from overseas? They do look a lot cheaper, just a little nervous about getting stung.

The only thing will be Customs Tax. I've ordered models from japan before but I don't think they have been over the limit so never had a problem.

Thanks.

Any recommendation for best overseas place to buy from?

Just a bit nervious as years ago bought something from overseas on ebay and never received it.

Lost all my money as i was slightly over the 30 day time limit reporting it to paypal.

I tend to use amazon as you have a bit of comeback with their traders. Other than that I don't really have any recommendations.

Thanks.

Last question - is the ESC that comes with it the standard TEU 101BK?

I have a feeling that the 2017 version will come with the TBLE-02 which replaces the TEU101BK.
I'm not 100% sure of that though.

Thank you.

Do you know what the difference is between the two?

Love the Avante.

Can see a UK seller with one for £425.

Am I missing something? Huge huge money for a moderately underwhelming buggy. Wouldn't buying a Losi, Traxxas or just about be better vfm?

Probably would be, but that's not the point.

I have an associated that i race. The Avante will spend most of it's time living on a shelf smile

Once it's on the shelf, make sure you keep it there!

I foolishly sold my original collection of Avante family buggies frown
