I had a Tamiya truck years ago, the FH12 Volvo with flat bed trailer.
Not long after finishing it I was forced to sell it to raise some urgently needed funds.
I had originally wanted to spray it a metallic blue, but me and spraying really don't go together!
I made a right arse of it, ended up stripping it all off and got a mate to do it in metallic silver.

I vowed to get another, but wanted one of the special editions that came already sprayed (not built though).
Also, I wanted a 6x4. I missed a few of them due to not being on the ball.
So had to sit tight and hope for another. Last week Tamiya released the Actros in pearl blue, so I ordered one straight away!
Now the wait for it to arrive from HK, which should be next week.

I won't start building it straight away apart from painting the dash and other fiddly bits.
I've got to round up various other bits such as 4 channel radio, multi function unit, extra lights etc

So until then, just a Tamiya pic:

If you're not familiar with how good these trucks are, this is a good example!

I'd love to have the skills and patience to build something like that, good luck.

If you've ever built a Tamiya car they are not a lot different really, they just take longer.
When I did the Volvo the hardest bit was the 3 speed box, just making sure all the selector forks and cogs were in the correct orders.
They are thoroughly enjoyable to build. I've built countless cars over the years and always comfortably do them in a day, but the Volvo took well over a week of a few hours most evenings.

It's arrived! Excellent service as always from StellaModels. I've been using them for about 15 years and they are always spot on.
Worked out about £150 less than UK shops even after including P&P from Hong Kong.
They emailed me with photos of a tiny crease in the corner of the box to see if I was happy with it before posting, now that's good service!
Excellent packaging with extra bubble wrap added inside the box, and strengthened corners on the outer packaging.

It will be just over a foot tall once finished biggrin

That blue look good. I wish they did that colour of prepainted bodys when I got my 4x2.
If I didn't have my 4x2 actros sat on the shelf & the grand hauler waiting to be built after I get the container trailer finished I would be getting one of those.
I love building the trucks but the painting is always the part that gives me the most stress of the whole builds.

I paid £328.55 including speed post and a full 32 piece ball bearing set.

Broken down:
Model £239.84
Bearings £8.76
Shipping £79.95

From your link it is £330 for normal post or £350 for speed post, both prices not including bearings.
Plus I know Stella are 100% trusted. I'm not saying the site you've linked is not, but I've never used it or seen it before.

Regarding total cost, once you have bought the truck, trailer, battery, charger, 4 channel radio, multi function unit (optional but worth getting) and other bits and bobs you can easily clear a grand and then some!
