Sorting out one of the garage lofts today came across these that I must have bought 15 years ago.

In all honesty I forgot I even had them!

Still brand new unused in the box, so they need a new project to be housed in and used.

Obviously they are for a 1/8 Scale RC car, so they will need to go into something of that order.

I already have two 1/8 Scale 4*4 racing buggies complete with engines, so don't need another one of that type.

Many years ago I did have a 1/8 Scale circuit race car, but as it was belt driven, the belts would get stones in them too easily and strip, so that car was shelved, probably still got the .21 engine for that one somewhere too.

I think one of the more modern shaft drive four wheel drive circuit race cars would be an ideal home for them, but not up on what's currently the best out there.

So over to you lot, any suggestions welcome!

Well no one. Commented on this thread, so I went ahead I did some research.

I finally decided on this 1/8 Scale GTX race car from Team X-ray.

It really is a superb piece of engineering, just check out the detail in this link.

Here’s one of the detail close ups!

And here’s the. Pics of my kit as delivered today.

I think this one will,be a winter build now, as I am still just at the start of my Associated RC10 kit build for indoor racing, I must post some pics of that build too!

Thanks.

Will do my best to get a series of pictures from the build when I start it!
