I bought a T-maxx a year or so ago, after never managing to get a nitro car when I was younger. Its great fun and I love it, but I don't often get time to take it out due to the complexity of the thing. This had led me to think about an electric version... I don't want to convert my existing T-maxx, but have been scouring ebay for a suitable donor or indeed a complete E-maxx (they are frighteningly expensive new!).

Has anyone done the conversion or have an E-maxx? I notice the brushed ones have twin motors, but the brushless versions a single motor. I would like something which is as quick as my T-maxx so can anyone offer any advise/experience please? Oh and where are the best places to hunt one out other than ebay?

Cheers

Are they worth much secondhand then?

I've got a T and E Maxx which I haven't run for years.

Seems to vary greatly. From what I've seen over the last few weeks, they start at £40-50 for a project, useable complete runner £130-180 and then clean cars with upgrades can be £300 plus.
