As the title states does anyone know where I could get a good scale model of an engine in the London Area for Goodwood. We are on a stand creating 3D models from an object and wanted to use a scale engine or something similar for the capture. Looking for a model around ~60cm^3 so it can stand on a plinth at the event. I understand that is a big ask in terms of scale model engines.

If anyone has any other good suggestions that would be appreciated, the software that produces the 3D models can be affected by anything with a lot of shine though so a car model does not work too well. Looking for something that will interest people though.

What type of engine?

A car engine?
An aircraft piston engine (radial, in,line, rotary, air cooled, liquid cooled)?
A turbine engine
A steam engine?

A working model engine made of metal?
A scale plastic engine (as made from a kit)?

To be honest we are that stuck any form of engine at the moment, preferably it would be a car, piston or turbine. Could be a working model or plastic any that fit in the dimensions. We are using photogrammetry software to create a reality mesh on the booth so just something that would appeal to people.

A kit could work although I don't have the steadiest hand for painting.

Will have a look into this, thanks for the help! If anyone would be happy to loan something that would be great but I understand that is a big ask when people have put hard work and money into these models.

I bought a 1/4 scale model of a Porsche 911 flat 6 engine kit as a gift for my dad.
It hasn't been built yet so I can't vouch for the size, but there are various plastic kits around in 1/4 scale.
