It's been a long time since I posted any pictures of my kits, so I thought I'd stick up some images of the armour kits I've been working with over the past year or so. The lighting wasn't at its best for the pictures so apologies for any rogue shadows!

First up is the ICM Zil-131 Emergency vehicle, it was a lovely kit to build and had a very detailed workshop in the rear:

I fancied doing a "Mad Max" style version of it so got another one and built it like this:

Tamiya's Churchill tank was a nice kit, inspired to build after reading the memoirs of a Churchill tank commander:

Tamiya's Challenger 1 next, another nice kit and I have two Trumpeter Challenger 2's in the stash to build soon:

Tamiya's vintage M60 with reactive armour. Pretty good for it's age:

Academy's M60 Starship with a resin Minigun kit stuck on just as practice for working with resin:

Academy's M1A1 Abrams, nice enough kit but quite basic. Came with some upgraded moulds for machine guns and accessories:

Trumpeter's KV-1 "Big Turret", another very nice kit:

Nice work - especially the KV.

Once I've finished the T-62 the next one I'll be tackling is AFV Club's transparent T-34.

I like the idea of transparent kits, or one's with clear parts on, but I've always worried that the glue would seep along the edges and make a mess or cloud the plastic. Do you have a way of minimising that issue?
