Tamiya Upgrades
Discussion
Admit I'm getting old but I have a re-release Lunchbox which I use with my son.
I want to upgrade it but things have changed a little from when I was using them as a kid! So, I've already ball-raced it but I'm confused around motors and shocks now...
I have a MTronics Sport Tuned 20 speed controller. I realise this has an impact on what motors I can use but Google results are confusing me!
Same as shocks, I don't want to spend a fortune but I'd like to try and make it a little more stable and easy to drive but other than that I'm lost!
Can anyone help me out with some simple Upgrades which won't cost the earth? Preferably with links...
Thanks in advance!

Look on tamiyaclub forum - there is a huge thread regarding modding the lunchbox.
Bear in mind you will spend a small fortune and will never be great - i speak from experience! Personally if you want a great handling/fast something look at the newer buggies.
But for the lunchbox you can buy a cheap 540sized chinese brushless set from ebay (ezrun?), add some lipo batteries and suitable charger.
Lower on some oil filled shocks, and definately do the 5th shock mod.
Sorry cant link from phone but its all on the tamiya forum!
