I couldnt see this posted anywhere, it got the 10k supporters in a ridiculously short time!

I really want to like it, but can't make my mind up about the side view. The rest I love, especially the red rubber band grill.

Something about the side profile there that makes it look like a Maestro.

I know the actual car is pretty angular, but the side is too flat.
The big c pilar needs a little angle but not sure how you would do it

Great idea and some nice details but the shape needs work before it'll make a good model. I did support it in the hope that if it make it (and Lego/VW clearly sells) the re-design for production would sort it out a little better.
