Scale Model cars

Anyone kindly suggest a good source for kids toy cars. Want something robust for 2.5 year old. Not a kit but a finished car. Thanks

My son (3 years old) loves the little Tesco brand of cars they sell (fits in his hand). They do all sorts of models (S2000, 911, Boxster, Impreza, Focus, Beetle etc.). They are good quilty and take a good beating on a daily basis, but he loses them all the time. The best bit is they cost about £1 each!

He can name every one of them and picks them out in real life.

My favourite "Oooo look raving car. Oh, no, it's just a Porsche daddy".
