FTX radio control

Anyone got a radio control car by FTX? On the face of it, they look good value, but interested to here from anyone who's got one. The model I'm looking at is a brushed Hooligan (looks a bit like a Fiesta rally car).

Cheap and nasty. Poor quality plastic, soft screws.

It's a matter of you get what you pay for, I fell for it once, half a battery pack and I knew I had made a mistake.

So I shouldn't buy an FTX over a Tamiya?
