Anyone else seen this?

Apparently available in October, and leaked by a Swiss store...

Only 773 pieces, but bloody tempting!

Size 28 cm x 14 cm, so roughly 1/11th scale.
Price is 60 Swiss, about £46

Price has been quoted as US$79.99 which I think translates to £64.99 here. Hope your price guess is more accurate than mine!

Not into LEGO but would prob buy this and do it with the kids. They are big LEGO fans.

It's on the official Lego Facebook feed, so the shots in the magazine (over on the Lego thread) were legit.

Am i the only one slightly disappointed that they went with yellow over the classic green option?

Presumably lots of us will already have the Mini, Beetle and F40, so I guess they want to keep the colours different.

If they will do a discount for a bulk order then I would be keen.

I'd happily sort you out and order 500-1000pcs. But it looks very much like LEGO are keeping it for themselves...bloody annoying when they have given independents a lot of other ideas sets (Wall E, Dr Who, Big Bang etc...)

I'm guessing this one is going to be pretty niche compared to most other Idea sets and indeed the other Creator vehicles (Mini, Beetle, F40). Maybe a limited run?

I'm amazed (and pleased) it got the green light to be honest.

Damn you Lego. You are draining my bank account. I have already bought a VW Beetle, Porsche 911 and, ironically a bank!

Yellow ones are faster.

I'm more disappointed with the rubbish nose profile.

Nice set, and I'll doubtless pick one up at some point to accompany the Mini, VW Campervan, F40 and Beetle, but it seems quite pricey given that the piece count is quite a lot lower than the similarly priced previous cars.

Licensing costs, I suppose.
