Thought I'd give these a go after hearing good things about them online:

http://www.hobbyzone.pl/en/

I wanted to replace my random plastic boxes and cantilever toolbox with something a bit more professional looking, with the intention of leaving it out on the bench as opposed to packing everything away after each model.

TBH I'm not sure it actually looks much better, but at least now everything is to hand I'll get more modelling time and less time looking for things.

The units themselves are flat-packed MDF, and pretty DIY: Very simple butt-joints that need glueing together. The individual units are held together with magnets. I bought some 3mm painted hardboard to make a protective base for my desk.

Anyone considering the paint racks beware: The image on their website showing the Tamiya paint pots actually shows the large pots, not the more common 10ml versions. I found this out to my cost.

I have a nasty suspicion I'd destroy that. All hail the Ikea Moppe.

Time will tell!

A set of apothecary drawers would have looked nicer, but not really practical for storing different items in the same drawer, plus paints take a lot of room up, and with the Vallejo pots you can't see the colour unless you can see the body rather than the cap.

Ah, I always paint my bottle tops, but my workshop currently looks like a tornado has gone through it and tidied up.
