Ride on electric cars for kids
Discussion
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't identify any particular section where the questions was best asked.
A mate of mine wants to buy a ride on electric car for his 4 year old son.
He's seen this one but, as it's a fair chunk of change and he knows little about them is hoping someone with a bit of knowledge or experience may be able to pass comment on this product or recommend something else.
Can anyone offer any advice please?

My boy has been saving his pocket money and last week we picked up a second hand of the slightly larger Crazy-Cart. It is ace, and it also works well with me on it .
On second thoughts it might be a bit much for a smaller child though.

Hi,
Did you get this sorted in the end?
My boy has a 12v BMW i8 which he loves and I can recommend. I bought it from:
https://www.smartplayzone.com/
Who were very helpful, it was reasonably priced and quick delivery.
The car in question:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/LICENSED-CONCEPT-PARENTAL...
It says it's a 12v, but actually it has two 6v motors, one for each rear wheel. Apart from the steering behaving slightly weirdly from the radio control, it works perfectly. The steering problem never really mattered as he was steering and driving himself very quickly.
Good luck with the hunt.
Cheers

My 9 year old is busy tearing up the neighbourhood on an old mobility scooter, not sure on power but shifts quick well, was going to cut it about bit and make it a lot lower and more for him but then i won't be able to have a go, its great to pop to the pub on. Some of the American electric ride ons are quite well designed, i remember seeing a Hummer with a decent stereo set up, or the cars car that had been modified to run 24v.
