A real longshot this, does anyone have a model hovercraft from the hoverspeed days? I had one as a child and like lots of things it got lost or broken or thrown away, I'd love to replace it, not bothered if it's play worn, infact I'd probably prefer slightly used to new and boxed.

The one I had was plastic, with 4 plastic props, underneath was like a clothes brush and it took batteries and vibrated from memory and moved around on the brushes, it also had a little battery powered "torpedo" which fitted underneath it and propelled it on water.

Must be one of the most outlandish requests on here for a while!

Thats a blast from the past.
One of my first "proper" jobs was as a sheet metal worker maintaining these.
Awesome piece of engineering and incredibly swift

Just put in a search to see if anyone had a toy model hovercraft of the type I had just found in my loft and came across your message in 2014! Did you ever find one of these? Mine belonged to my son who was given it when he crossed the channel on the Hovercraft in the early 1980s. I have just connected batteries to it and, amazingly, it works well. Are you still interested in obtaining one or, following your 2014 appeal, do you have dozens lying around?
