Good job, I've always wanted a Tamiya truck. Have you got a trailer picked out yet.

Can’t believe how long ago it was I built this truck now.

Any way inspired by Stussys ⎌Tamiya Truck build I had a look at my Scania.

It was in a very unloved state in the loft, having sat up there for many years.

Sadly several of the clear plastic parts has been damaged, including the windscreen which was cracked at the bottom.

Luckily parts are still available so got the clear plastic parts from jadlam model and they were delivered yesterday.

Will have a look today to see if I can get it back to working condition and looking complete and less broken too!

I need to update my thread too.
There are some excellent mods and upgrades around these days if you fancied freshening it up.
Just google tamiya scania on eBay and tons will show up.
There are some good Facebook tamiya truck groups too

Yes I did look at getting the set of spot lights that mount on the top of the windscreen, as that was the other part that broke, but was put off by the price, espeocjally when I got the full set of window plastics including that top spoiler for a tenner!

Might have a look at a redo of the MF unit so I can get the interior installed, as mine was from when you had to leave it out to get the MF unit installed.

These trucks and cheap never come in the same sentence unfortunately!
Some people fit a false cab wall to hide the MFC behind.
This old thread shows a good example
