Lots of holes to drill out.

1/12 Tamiya Ducati, mostly OOB hence the drilling rather than PE replacement.
Sometimes the simple solutions are the best!

Italeri F5 Tiger II, Patrouille Suisse.

This was a very hard model for a novice like me, tough masking and decals, I also had to bodge the gear bays shut. I just need to work out how to display it in flight.
I also need to work on my photography!

Lovely job.

May I recommend an acrylic rod up the bum.

I think this is the answer, I need 6mm rod but its very expensive on amazon and I'll end up with much more than I need.

A 300mm length of 8mm acrylic rod is less than £5 on eBay.

Well done for seeing it through! Looks great and you should be proud. Does need a rod up it's bum...

I think of myself an accomplished modeller but I know I'd cock up the decals so wouldn't go near that livery, strength to you!

I just came across this on Pinterest, maybe an option if you don't fancy a rod up the bum hehe

Those Coastal Kits bases are ace! So effective for their simplicity.
So, rod up the bum or spike in the belly?!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I have a piece of acrylic rod on its way, I'll probably go for a small base as I'm only allowed one st shelf at the moment.

Does the A4 base come painted like that? Or do I have to go all Bob Ross?

I'm not a modeler, just like lurking & enjoying everyone else's efforts! As gruffgriff mentioned Coastal Kits, I just had a look and found this; https://coastalkits.co.uk/cubecart/motion-blur
