In reality, invasion stripes were pretty crudely hand painted on the full size aircraft. Most modellers can't bring themselves to depict the stripes showing the fairly raggedy edges one sees in wartime pictures,

Thanks everyone, didnt know till today this part of the Pistonheads forums existed, had some spare time & found the section by accident.
I enjoyed the pictures of all your cars/heli's/planes, nice collections.

My apologies for crap photographs taken with mobile phone, I will delete & replace them with good quality pictures next few days.

To be honest I wasnt sure anyone would be interested.

Thanks again for comments.

Lovely stuff - makes my Airfix efforts l;ook rather tame.

Still, they are a lot cheaper smile

The video of the Blue Angels model was impressive - even if the Blue Angels in reality still use the original F-18A.

Wow, that is astonishing. After all that work you must be scared of flying it in case anything goes wrong!

All mine are kept in thier boxes unless i really want a good look at them, then they come out briefly!

Here are some of my favorites.....

My Hotwheels collection, all muscle cars

A very very rare Japanese Hotwheels KITT

My AMT General Lee, i modified it to look like its drifting, and i gave it a dusty effect with my airbrush

My Johnny Lightning collection, again all muscle cars, the detail on these for the price is amazing

I love this small Vanguards collection of 60's and 70's Fords

1:18 scale

Some of my favorites

Sun Star Camaro, I modified this to look like my own car

This was a bargain from work, £80 retail, £30 to me, so i bought two, sold one on Egay for £60, so essentially this one was free! I think it looks the business, and its rare, a 2000 model Merc G500

My favorite 1:18th scale model, the other half bought it for me a couple of years ago for Christmas, AutoArt 3dr Cossie

Radio controlled Hitari KITT, with various functions, this was to replace one i had when i was a kid!

My recently finished Tamiya Subaru Brat re-issue

My Traxxas T Maxx 3.3 with various mods, check out the rear exit twin exhaust

And last is my Blata 3.3 Mini Moto Ducati Fila rep, but trying to sell it now as its taking up too much space

Hope you like them all

Ben
