I've calmed down my hotwheels buying lately but I always have a look when I'm in Tesco. Here's what I found this weekend

Nice find with the Gas Monkey Corvette - I have the 2017 original release with a different livery, from when they did the real car on the show

Another non-Hot Wheels, but I couldn’t resist this one of my favourite rally car which popped up on Modelmatic for preorder at the beginning of the year - the Tarmac/Hobby64 Ford Sierra Cosworth (1989 RAC Rally). The detail is remarkable right down to the aerial, mud flaps and tow hooks, a one pound coin shown to confirm the size of this tiny work of art.

Wow, some nice models in their portfolio and considering the details quite reasonably priced

£2.40 in some super markets now for these. I’m sure most people know but Poundland and B&M often have them for £1.60 still.

£1.50 in Poundland, but half price in my local one which was closing down. Surprised to see a fair bit of decent stuff still there, not just the fantasy vehicles. I came away with this lot for 75p each, including a Treasure Hunt Mustang and the white Nissan Maxima I've been after for a while:

I quite like the premiums, Really want the BMW set but it's so expensive for what it is.

Smiths have this Nissan set that I have just Pre-Ordered and I got the Mercedes Set last week which is really nice.

Finally got my set and i picked up a couple of hot premiums along the way! biggrin

Not really a huge fan of Fords but i like the special editions and i love this casting and especially that it comes with a full roll cage.

This Cosworth has been very popular amongst collectors since its recent release and i think will remain so.

I was going to get the Boulevard Escort but not too keen on spending £20 - £25 on it.

Yeah those are the ebay prices but even those are coming down now as more become available.

I paid the princely sum of £8.99 each for mine. The Entertainer usually retails their premiums at £7.99 but none in their stock yet. Be patient and keep hunting! biggrin

Bear in mind that they are sometimes late to list on their website what they have availabe so worth checking the stores now and then if possible.

This new Boulevards set aren't yet listed on their website but it's where i got mine from. Luckily, Smyths are along my daily commute so will stop by occasionally to check their stock.

I’m sure I’m not the only one on here to pick up one of these at Le Mans this weekend! It’s amazing how a shiny sticker can make a little die cast toy cost €12…

It's on its way. Dreams do come true! woohoo

Skip to 11:23 if you don't want to watch the whole video.

That's going to be an RLC model though so be prepared to get one.

Slightly pissed GenX returned to the Modelmatic website a few days ago. Having now trawled the site I think I have all the Fords I want from them.

Firstly, and appropriately for the thread, the Hot Wheels 50th anniversary RS1600

A company called Greenlight do some nice, inexpensive, Escort Cosworths

I can’t get over the quality of the Hobby64 Sierras though

I’ve banned myself from that website for a while…
