Got this sitting for when I come home from hospital after surgery smile

Also got these as a little thing as they looked cool.

Try not to finish them too quick as have lots of free rather boring free time soon.

I may have a false impression of it. A few years ago it went from being a full range to what appeared just to be the emergency services with buildings made from big wall pieces and other large, non-useful specific stuff. As a kid I loved the City sets. Might have to revisit depending on how much I like the police copter!

The 'copter is better as the nose is made up of separate pieces - the tilt-rotor there and the police plane have a single formed piece for the nose and single piece for the plane which limits what you can build from there.

The city stuff is more than emergency services, but that makes up the bulk of it. I like the idea of the train set, but it's rather expensive...

I had the 7740 train as a kid, with extra track and so on, but I didn't play with it all that much. Except for the remote level crossing which was brilliant.

I wonder how much the real Ghostbusters set will deviate from the suggestion? If it's not far off, I shall be getting that. In contrast to the DeLorean which looks a bit of a dog's breakfast and seems to be available at a discount in various places already.

Where have you seen it at a discount? I never have....

Ended now, but Argos were selling it on eBay for £27.99: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-DELOREAN-CAR-21103-...

ETA: plus £3.95 postage, but including that it's still a discount on the RRP.

how disappointing is that Delorean? I'd love one, but that is a mess. Surely they can do better than that.

Apparently people were buying them in Tescos for only £15 a while ago.

By the way, there is a companion set to the cat and mouse one; I've ordered it too, from Amazon at £17.99 but with no fixed delivery date. It's listed on Argos's website but for some reason I can't see the stock/delivery checker section so I have no idea whether they have any.
I've had a delivery date from Amazon for 31019 pictured above - 17 March. Which makes me wonder if the cat and mouse set (31021) will be released in the UK around that date too. I might regret spending nearly £30 inc postage on 31021 from the US if delivery takes until the end of Feb!
