Has anyone else noticed a significant increase in the range of axle widths? They've always seemed fairly uniform but some recent examples I've picked up have been all over the place. The Audi is 32.5mm while the Porsche is only 27mm and the Dodge is staggered front to rear. I'm wondering if this is a new trend, it seems to work pretty well for a closer approximation of scale.

Ebay loose purchase - 964 & R32. Both stunning in my opinion. Black always looks nice on diecast.

Found this i-pace in a re-stock in ASDA yesterday. Amazing detail and a great finish make it possibly my favorite one so far.

Anyone watch the Unicorn Circuit Youtube vids by Mighty Car Mods? They had some MCM edition Hotwheels on the desk, but can't find any info on-line. Would love to get hold fo some fo those.

Picked up a couple more for the Fast Ford collection. First a carding of the Ford GT I haven’t seen before:

And on the same aisle were some Matchbox including this nice GT40. I have to say this seemed a bit steep at €5, especially as one of the big selling points of a lot of early Matchbox was that they had opening features. Expensive times…

Some nice finds in the previous posts, particularly like the red Ford GT.

I'm still only a couple of months into collecting but enjoying it, had a good find in the local garden centre on Friday of a corvette C8.R and the Formula E gen 2.

A spur-of-the-moment visit to Smyths yielded more delights today.

Firstly the well known F&F Escort to go with my Fast Fords

Finally the TV Batmobile I’ve been looking for

Then this beauty caught my eye - part of the Premium Track Day series including the Sport quattro in a decent scheme, a Lamborghini and a very nice Group C Sauber C9

With potato-sourced detail photo

I quite like the premiums, Really want the BMW set but it's so expensive for what it is.

Smiths have this Nissan set that I have just Pre-Ordered and I got the Mercedes Set last week which is really nice.

Popped into The Entertainer near me at the weekend and they had a Hot Wheels sale on. 3 tables covered in them along with 8 boxes underneath and a few pegs. 3 for 2. Managed to pick up the Merc SEC and Porsche RS along with a couple of others (Batman Forever batmobile, Yellow Dodge Viper from memory).

Worth having a look if you have one nearby, not sure if it was just mine or all of them.

Got mine on pre-order aswell. Tbh, I'll be happy with just the Hakosuka Skyline than the whole set.

The set i really want is the original set.....

However, they're a bit pricey now on ebay.

Like the BMW set also and recently found this one........

Just need to find the M5 now. Not too keen on the M2.

If it helps there's a red M5 on the way.

Skip to 9:50 for a look:

Thanks for that. Lamley always does a great job of getting all the inside scoop of upcoming stuff. wink

That's such a beautiful casting in the proper original colours of release for the M5.

Definitely looking forward to collecting that one when it hits the market! beer

Nice Majorette Alfa Giulia QF today. Shame they didn’t do it in red (Matchbox also produced a blue one)

Majorette always had the best suspension for actual playing with when I were a lad. Is that still the case? Hated Hotwheels then because they had no suspension so you couldn't imitate body roll or dive or squat. Matchbox used to be good, but now they are solid just like Hotwheels.
