Has anyone seen the Lego Enzo (#8652)? Must have been made in 2004-5? Was it a good set?
Captured the shape quite well but not up to the standards of recent sets. An interesting alternative build.

Thank you. I am looking more at the collectable side of things. Food for thoughts.

Will have to look out for that one, the hyper car would go well with the Porsche.

Oddly the SC F1 sets don’t do it for though.
I take this back. Have been given the McLaren one for a present and it’s a great little build and looks a lot better than I thought it would.

Will have to look out for the others!

I finished the Milky Way. Bit of an odd one; I enjoyed the build but it's very simple - just bits on baseplates. But a really weird/interesting selection of pieces - hairbrushes, bicycle helmets, whisk, a frog... And it looks ace.

Not one if you only like the clever building techniques stuff.

Is there any special bit to show where ‘we’ all are?

If you zoom in there is a sign saying "you are here." biggrin

I like it but not sure the wife would let me replace a family photo on the wall with it

Has anyone used those hooks to mount the speed champions models to the wall? Seems a more useful way of storing/displaying them

I have literally just hung mine with these and they're very good! They fit pretty snug on them so no chance of them being knocked off. Come with screws etc.

That's all I needed to hear, I'm ordering some today!

Hopefully they'll work with command strips and I don't want to drill the walls if I can help it

They look brilliant! I was thinking about putting a picture frame shelf up for mine but that would be cooler!

ETA: Does anyone have the McLaren, Aston and Mercedes F1 Speed Champion sets? Are the F1 car similar?

Purchased the Concorde via Argos after reading posts how good a build it is .I have not started on it yet but not sure now as its mainly Technic models I have built .I did see a comment about changing it to BA logo and found a link on E-Bay that this seller Chrisman -298 can supply all the parts inc instruction to convert it £29 was wondering if anyone has used this guy and did it work .

Assuming it's this one, the stickers look bloody awful!

It was ,is there another supplier folk can recommend ..I thought they looked ok ,but rather like the red strip along the model of the original one, so may well keep stock .If anyone wants one I will sell
at cost £136 +PP as back at £170 at Argos

Thanks! A few more slowly to add when I get them built and the stickers arrive!

They are - the Porsche on the left is ‘Lego’, the others are mostly a chap called SFH_Bricks on rebrickable. Got a few more older LM cars to make (including the Nascar from last year!)

Stickers here fro various Concorde options:

https://www.brickstickershop.com/website/index.php...

The stickers come with thin white stickers you can put over the red bricks if you want.

Then buy whatever bits you decide you need from Bricklink.
