Its quite close to the Hasbro one from the original series so it gets a bit of a pass from me, its also not got VW branding on it.
Yeah I think that's the aim but it really doesn't look great.

I'll acknowledge that the car looks terrible, but the robot side looks ok. Hopefully it's not as fragile as Optimus Prime..

£37 from Smyths toys seemed like a decent deal. Should make a nice change to the usual case of ales!

The Speed champions G wagon is excellent, my 6 year old is loving it, he can put 4 minifigs in it and a dog in the boot.

It was an interesting build as well with a central spine and I loved the wheel trims that made the small wheels and big tyres look like big rims and low profile.

Very clever, the other build in the box is good too but the G wagon is getting all the play this morning.

Just started the tantive iv this morning was a gift from the Mrs

Only done 2 bags but I'm really liking these small ship models as I have nowhere to put the full size ones

Yes owning your own space port is a bit of a stretch, even for PH.

(I know what you really meant wink)

The Milky Way has arrived.

Judging by the weight of the box and the 31 bags this may be more than one weekend's worth.

Anyone bought / built either of these sets? Both seem rather expensive for what they are...although I guess that's Lego all over these last couple of years.

(Havoc Jr has a birthday coming up and doesn't want cheap stuff anymore...although in fairness he doesn't expect to just be bought the Bugle...)

The parts don’t look like “real” Lego, there’s no branding at all. On the instructions the first is a 2x2 plate, the second a single round thin stud.

I quite likes the DB … and I am not a follower of the movies but the sets in the build are quite good. Looks good in the right setting…
