I'm just after a bit of advice if possible.

Two days ago I bought an 08 plate V70 from a used car dealer and everything was fine. It was a dry, sunny day and the car seemed to be in very good condition so I bought it for a very reasonable price.

Anyway, I drove it the 150 miles home and it was perfect and never missed a beat. I left it parked up all weekend and got into it this morning and the battery was nearly flat and all the electrics were going haywire!

I got it running and managed to move it but most of the electrics are unresponsive. It seems during some torrential rain over the weekend that water has been leaking through the top of the windscreen and soaked the inside of the car. I've had to disconnect the battery as the fan wants to run all the time!

I am disappointed the garage never mentioned to me about the windscreen leaking I must say, and I know it's a cheap car and I have no comeback so I will just have to try my best to dry it all out.

So the question I have for the knowledgeable people on here is, when I get it all dried out etc is it still likely the car electrics will still be troublesome? Obviously they are very sensitive to moisture and I'm wondering whether the car will recover from this?

They specifically said its sold as seen and no warranty would be given. It was a cheap p/x.
