Discounts on Volvo used cars.

Have been looking at a few nearly new S60s recently.

I know Volvo are very generous when discounting new cars (10% seems to be the bare minimum) but what is the situation re used cars.

Any personal experiences?

Best I've been offered so far is 1k off a very well spec'd d3 R-design. Should I be biting their hands off or holding out for more?

Yes, yes I know white is very marmite and most of you probably dislike it in this colour but putting this to one side, is 23k a good deal?

Well decided against the white R-Design. Want to keep the car for at least 4 years and whilst white looks good now, who knows what things will be like in a few years time.

Just placed a deposit on a copper D3 (163 PS) SE Premium with 5k miles.

That is a nice colour. I did the S60 track day last year with Volvo - the new S60s are very nice to drive and I think they look great. I see you have the high performance audio as well - good choice!
