Can anyone recommend a breakers yard which is likely to have a V70 in the Luton/Leighton Buzzard area or not too far from there?

I need to replace a headlight on my 2003 V70 and I'm cautious of spending £125 or so on Ebay but don't mind buying secondhand if I can actually see the light before parting with cash. New price is £270 or so delivered.

Thanks.

I know they are too far away, but I have used them a lot for bit over the years. Never had a problem with them. They are always pretty helpfull. Was delivered quick too.

I was recently charged £175 + VAT per PAIR (non OEM?) by my local garage
who got them from somebody like 'German & Swedish' or 'EuroCarParts'.

just seen the thread, but alongside the A1 at Wyboston is a good source of broken Volvos, not too far from you...

Thanks for that.

Ended up buying a new Volvo headlight for about £270 due to time constraints and needing other work done ASAP. However I shall bear that in mind for other bits which will inevitably need replacing sooner ot later - could do with replacing the mashed up rear bumper for a start.

Thanks for the updates. Thread bookmarked by default, so at least I'll know where to start looking for parts in future as Volvo parts prices can be pretty scary.
