Rear Park Assist service required

Hello,
We keep getting this message on our 2006 XC70. For a while it came and went but now it seems to be on all the time. The cause is obvious - the rear park assist isn't working, but I just wondered if it was a common problem and if there was an easy fix or is it off to the dealer? If the latter is it likely to be expensive...? Tks in advance, Andrew

It could just be one of the sensors is out and finally gave up after the snow/ice/cold.
Volvo should be able to track down which one it is - if its just a sensor wouldnt expect it to be too expensive.
My last Volvo didnt like rain, snow or dirt on them and it would sound constantly when not happy!
