Having trouble finding a nice V70 D5
Discussion
Basically your budget is too low for a low miles, manual D5.
You can get one...
http://www.pwcars.co.uk/vehicle-details.asp?model=...
....but it will have 150k miles on it and that one doesn't have leccy seats (not a big issue really).
For reference I got my car for 5.5k in april this year - 103k miles 52 plate D5 SE auto with winter pack.

and he wouldn't accept my reasonable offer. A couple of weeks later he called me to ask if I was still interested
in the car at a cheaper price ...... by which time I had bought another .

No doubt that looks a great car.But you would lose a couple of thousand in depreciation as soon as you drove it away I reckon. Too much money.
If anyone is looking for a V70 D5 I'll be selling mine in a couple of weeks when my new car arrives. I'll advertise it properly closer to the time but thought someone here might like first dibs.
