This B***** Brake Relay!!!

Hi all, I have an 01 S60 T5 with the intermittent brake light problem (top one works, side ones don't) most likely caused by the brake relay...

But, for the life of me I cannot get the relay out (and im not 100% sure what one it is). the fact it hasn't gona above freezing probably doesn't help matters... I have asked this on VoC and Matts and not really got a good answer...

You think if i pop it into the dealers they'll swop it over for a tenner or something.

Always worth asking the dealer mate, not all of them are hopeless.

Ive got the haynes manual for the s\c\v 70 series, if that's of any help i can scan a page, but im not sure if any of it carries over to the s60.

that would be great mate. i would imagine the equivalent v70 would share the same relays...

might wait for this snow to clear and give the dealer a ring and see if they'll swap it over... too bloody cold outside to get my fingers round the relay...
