Buying advice - XC70/90 - the good, bad and ugly?

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a 2nd hand Volvo 4wd to replace my recently purchased Audi A3 Quattro 2.0T Sportback Sport (bit of a mouthful, that model!).

Basically the Audi is awesome but due to my work involving visits to building & construction sites the ground clearance is an issue and I run out of space in the boot mighty fast, too.

I've not owned a Volvo before and am a total noobie with regards to spec, performance and reliability issues so I'm hoping you good folk can point me in the right direction?
