Hi

I run a company that produces sound effects for video games and we're about to do a stack of car recordings for a forthcoming PS3 / 360 title (can's say what it is just yet). It's not a racing game and many of the vehicles are 'ordinary' cars. I'm trying to find a 5 cylinder petrol engined car at the moment and was wondering if anyone on this part of the forum had something?

The recording is taking place near Wakefield and uses a system called DynaPack. You'd get to hear your car in a game, get a power reading, some MP3s and expenses money.

If you're interested, drop me a line: jerry@mediamill.co.uk

Thanks!

2.0litre 20v 850 - sharpest sounding of the lot - I know of one you can use that sounds excellent

That sounds great. Can you put me in touch with the owner?

Hi

Still after a 5 cylinder motor. We're doing recording in a 2 day session on the 24th / 25th of Feb. Anyone up for it?

Hi; a friend of mine just brought this to my attention. I can only recommend the finest 5 cylinder symphony still on the road and upu should only consider the Audi quattro for this. I have just posted a new thread on the quattro forum with a link to this thread which may yield in an ideal participant for your project....

Thanks. A few years back I got the chance to record a rebuilt Quattro rally car. In fact, it was the first rally Quattro and the rebuild was so good, Audi used the car in promo stuff. A work of art!
