yes,4 from right,thanks.at the moment when i leave the dog in the car,i put the key in the lock,turn it it to the right and then turn to the left and lock it.this seems to disable the alarm.what is the phone you have in the car,is this a volvo extra ? any idea on price ?It's for disabling the ultrasonics on your alarm...

The phone is a Volvo extra - no idea about the price though, sorry.
When I had my last service (November) Volvo fitted their own intergrated (sort of) bluetooth system to my V70. Basically it's a silver panel, which they've sited where those buttons are, in the above picture....mine is a cheaper spec though, so they were just blanked out in my car and the actice buttons were at the outside of the panel.
It's not the cheapest system, but is very easy to use and looks smart in the car.

Isn't that phone the integrated GSM phone, where you put a SIM card into... err... a SIM card reader for want of a better description.
Comes with the On Call and SOS buttons where you have to subscribe to the service.
I absolutely HATED that SOS button in my last V50. Lost count of the number of passengers who got in and said "oooh SOS what's that for?" and I had to grab their wrist as their finger got within a nanometre of a press.
