C30 D5 dropped?

Doe anyone know if the 5-cylinder unit has been dropped from the facelifted model? I had my eye on that for my next company car!

No idea to quote pancho from dirty sanchez "that'll be a real romper stomper" with that lump under the bonnet

I hope not, as it's a decent car. I had an auto one a month or so back, when my car was in for service. I'd say it was rapid rather than fast, but felt a bit tight as it had only done 600 odd miles.

We had a C30 D5 geartronic on test a good while back now, took it out one day round one of the advanced test routes. Passenger observed he could see the fuel gauge physically dropping at one point. :ahem:


Personally I don't rate the C30 that highly but that's just me. Too compromised on space yet dynamics don't give enough advantage over bigger vehicles according to our findings.
