I am just about to pick up a 1995 850s estate that requires new tyres all round...The car is truely mint (16000 mls from new!). I am based Coventry and need advice on what to do to this car. Is there one that I should be pointed at for a rim sizes/tyre sizes (keeping the rolling radius), lowering...does it need this. Finally is there anything that the 850S requires on the the engine side that I be advised to do?

what engine is it? 2.0 20v? -

As for tyres, I'd go for Kuhmo solus on a 15" steels and a budget or Ecsta KU31 for the 16" T5 alloys

Having moved on ...2.5 10V...since my last posting, I have sourced a rebuilt CR-805 single CD player etc. in black to match the dash, and used the spare tyre and another Ebay 'new spare' to give me the 4 matching set of NCT2 as an interim to getting a set of 16 alloy's with the correct rolling radius to suit (not that they were worn, but the fronts were UV age hardened and needed to be changed, as such the rears will get the same treatment). Added a tow bar that is not the removable version, but it un-bolts and whilst still being wired side mounts onto the tow bar frame hidden as such, externally next to the spare wheel, but with one bolt undone and then fitted into place in about 10 minutes. Serviced and OBD1 code tested it, fault free. I have ordered a quick-shift to drop the ratio of the lever arm on the gearbox and shorten the throw in the car from the USA. Lastly added 2000 miles.
