Hi All,

I think i might have mentioned this before but the newer T5's seem to be ok'ish on economy.

I have now had the C70-T5-Auto (2005) for about 1500 miles and mixed driving has resulted in 25mpg. Computer shows 26.7mpg.

Now.... I drive in a spirted fashion and considering it is an auto the enconomy is surprisingly good.....On a long motorway run at 80 leptons mpg rises to 34.

I must admit in town driving, average is around 16 !!

What are your experiences?

I have a 2003 Geartronic T5.

It averages 27.8 as a mix of around town / short motorway bursts.

I am sure I noticed an increase of about 1-2 mpg when I fitted Pilot sports to it .

+1 on my 96 850 T5 - it would seem 25 is a good overall average - I can get mine up to 35mpg on a long run and reset computer but I don't really worry too much about and it just fill up when needed!
