Ah thanks for that. Wondered why the figures varied so widely on the tech spec on Autotrader.
Looks like if i like them i'll have to source a manual.
Any of the S60's are very good cars - in their class. The R's are supposed to be excellent but when I looked at one a local Volvo dealer, (who was selling the car), advised me to leave R's alone as he thought they were too complex. That's not an opinion I've heard elsewhere, though. All S60's are supremely comfortable - some of the best seats in the business. But...............turning circle is nearer Titanic than power boat and you learn to pick your parking spots.Looks like if i like them i'll have to source a manual.
Great cars though. You could always just go for a T5 and live without the 4WD, perhaps ? Whatever, I wish you good hunting and enjoyment.
I have owned a V70R 6 speed manual for 3 yrs bought from Volvo dealer, its done 64k now & never had any probs with it, & yes the seats are really really comfy ! Best car i've ever had love it ! Being the manual version its quick aswell, V70R is 5.9 book to 60. S60R's seem quite cheap at the moment, lot of car for the money. yes they are complicated & i have heard of a lot of stories of people having lots of things going wrong but mine has been as good as gold.
