A friend of mine has an 1999 'S' Reg S40 T4 (I think thats a 1.9 T) he has been having a problem with the fuel reaching the injectors, he has been advised by another friend that it could be the fuel pump.
The car has been stopping on a drive, car shows plenty of petrol but stops running.
As the fuel pump costs over £200 new, is there anything else that could be casuing the issue, and would one from the scrappy be alright to use, or does it have to be new?
Any help/advise would be appreciated.
Cheers

Check the fuel pump relay first if i was you make sure its not that playing up
As for a fuel pump if that is the fault one from a scrappies sound be fine but see if you can get some sort of warrenty on it first or check

They will source out the part for you usually give 2 months warrenty and will deliver to your home. Iv used them a few times and they have been great with realistic prices
