S60 2.0TS advice
Discussion
Hi simple question really. I'm trading from the old vr6 golf I've had for years to a proper grown up car and I think for the money the S60 can't be beaten.
Can anyone let me know what the servicing costs are like? I'm looking at one with 98,000 on it but would want to do the next service as soon as I get it just to be sure. Obviously I've had an old car so I've had old car servicing costs and should probably check this now I've decided to be an adult.
Any other advice on what to check when looking at S60's would be greatly appreciated.
Marco

Good day Marco,
You would be best trying a couple of other Volvo specialist sites particularly:
www.t5d5.org
www.volvoclub.org.uk
You will obviously get the best information if you let the community know whereabouts you live.
Generally though dealers are to be avoided except in a couple of cases, there are many well established and decent non franchise outfits and there is very, very little on these cars that cannot be dealt with by a small local non specialist.
If you are considering an S60R then you do need to have a specialist to hand as they do present some unique problems...
Regards, Don.
