S60Rs

Sorry if this has appeared before guys but do S60Rs have timing belts or chains? If belts, what are the replacement intervals?

I believe they have belts. As for the change interval i'm not sure. I know on my old S60 T5 the interval was 96k miles. Any volvo service department should be able to give you the actural figure for the R. My 'R' has just had its 60K service and i know it has never had the timing belt done.

A bit of research on some of the Volvo owners sites would be worthwhile. owners seem to have some problems, some claiming that only the possession of a good warranty makes ownership an affordable proposition.
