Absolutely loving my newly purchased XC70 - it's awesome. One question though - if I keep it in Drive at the traffic lights with my foot on the footbrake, and then move quickly to the accelerator to move off, it feels like the brakes are still applied for a split second before I move forward. Not having driven an auto before, I wondered if this is normal. It feels a bit like it's locked in position before being allowed to start moving.

Any ideas guys?

ps nothing, and I mean nothing is as cool as showing the sat nav screen rising out of the dash to your mates. Worth buying for that alone!!

you need the 'manfoot' upgrade. most dealers should be able to help.

perhaps you've got the anti-gurn setting enabled? it'll probably take a few seconds to overcome your natural levels.
