Hey Guys,

The clunks and rattles are getting noisy enough to drive me up the wall on my 850R. In the rear of the car I have been getting booming clunks/bangs over bumps, which I thought where from the tail gate.
After pulling the tailgate apart, replacing the broken clips, and taping down anything that could rattle, I haven't soved much.

Now over bumps, I am noticed the rear seats shake over bumps - the hard suspension doesn't help here - and pretty sure this is the cause of my booming / rattle / clunking noise. But I can't see I can tighten much to sove the problem (haven't pulled the seats apart yet).

Has anyone had / solved this problem before?

Cheers,
Stuart

Yes, inside the backrest mechanism, you know the ones either side that unlatch when you drop it down, there are 2 rubber blocks that cushion against the body hooks. You can either renew them, or if they are not too far gone turn them 90 degrees for some temporary peace - I have found that doesn't work forever though.
