Rear Reversing Sensors
Discussion
I have a 2002 52 plate V70 2.4 140SE fitted with reversing sensors.
In the last few days they have developed a fault in that as soon as reverse is engaged, the 'bleeper' sounds with a constant noise, irrespective of and 'hazards'..... and then after a few moments stops, and does not sound again.
I have tried switching the unit on and off with the overide switch in the nearside rear light access compartment, but to no avail.
Anybody any clues as to what to do or where to look now?
I don't have a clue about where all the gubbins are situated......
Might it just be damp on a sensor?
Help would be appreciated.......I've come to rely on the protection the sensors give.
Regards
Andrew
