What does this orange switch do?

Removing the cover to gain access to change a bulb in the o/s rear cluster earlier, I came across an orange switch that I never knew existed. It's a simple orange rocker switch with positions 0 and 1 (off and on assumed).

What does this do, does anyone know please..!? Thanks in advance.

hi classic 42 its Paul again,if your car has reverse sensors fitted this switch will switch them on or of,handy if you tow a trailor or caravan.

.... it does indeed have acoustic rear parking sensors, so once again your diagnosis is spot on Paul.
