Bulb Warning Light

[Classic 42]

The bulb warning light on my (old shape) C70 cabriolet came on whilst driving home last night.

After a walk around the vehicle checking everything, I can't find a side-light, dip or main beam, indicator, fog light, reverse light, brake light or number plate light that isn't working fully!

Is it a case of "they all do that Sir" or am I perhaps missing something..!?

hi classic 42,have a good look at you tail lights,there are 2 bulbs in each tail lamp,more than likely only 1 bulb out but tail lamp will still be partially lit,or if comes on when braking it will be a brake light bulb,regards Paul.

Your diagnosis was spot on Paul. One of the two tail lights had indeed blown.
