XC90 Tyres/Tyre wear

Our XC90 has just hit 14K miles and needs 4 new tyres!

Now I would understand if it was my car but it's not, my wife drives it.

A quick search notes this as a common complaint of the XC90, but as I see it this is the only complaint I have so I'm not going to grumble too much.

Also I'm being quoted £135 per corner which isn't bad...unless any other owners out there have any better options?

Have a look on www.volvoforums.org.uk in the XC90 section. Lots of advice on tyres & issues such as tracking and alignment.

Seem to remember people recommending Nokians last time I looked.

Look for Nokian NRVi. Good prices at indepndents and did not suffer the edge wear of the Pirellis.

No change in grip or noise from the Pirellis either
