XC 90 advice

Hi

The wife is looking to get one of these for around £16k. However I am not sure whether this model has been superceded by the XC70 or is due an update soon. Could someone please advise.

Also is it best buying from a dealer - car will be an auto diesel

XC70 is a different car - similiar to the audi A6 all-road - estate car with jackedup up suspension.

XC90 was face-lifted late last year - more colour coding, different light clusters, internal tiding, more powerful diesel engine.

16K from a dealer will get you a 03/04 plate XC90 with a highish mileage(60K+).

Advantages of a dealer is that it will come with a 12 month used volvo warrenty, new cars come with 3 years(60K miles) warrenty which then costs £1500 year to extend.
